| Continuous
quality consciousness is one of the conditions for long term
success. The MBA title is the award for top level, high quality
study. Schiller International University watches closely over
the quality standards of its MBA program and its future MBA
participants. Participants themselves can have confidence
that the award of the MBA title is justified and corresponds
to its high aims. The Accrediting Council for Independent
Colleges and Schools (ACICS) assures that the performance
in its affiliated institutions meet the strict standards of
the ACICS.
Assessments and evaluations
are made continuously over the whole duration of the MBA study
period. Oral presentations are evaluated and reports have
to be prepared and delivered on time.

Typically
each course has a midterm and a final exam, given in the middle
and at the end of each course. However, the exams and papers
are not the only criteria for evaluation.
A comprehensive oral
exam at the end of the MBA program has the objective to determine
whether the participants have reached a level of understanding
of concepts used in their field of study. Furthermore, participants
have to present themselves in an articulate, convincing manner
to a committee who will judge whether the participants will
perform effectively in a leadership position in management.
Continuous personal
and confidential communication between professors and participants,
facilitated by the limited number of participants in the MBA
program, leads to a clear orientation and, if necessary, to
spontaneous corrective actions on the basis of mutual understanding.
